I have used day-to-day utensils with various kinds of lights for these photographs; leds, halogen, tungsten, daylight.
This portfolio is in contrast to my more usual work which includes documenting London - particularly the King's Cross area over a decade of redevelopment - and also producing constructed photographs from stage sets which pay homage to artists and photographers of the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. Gandha lives in North London and works as an artist, photographer and internet project curator. Her projects include: Zybooks which showcases artists' books from around the world; The Picasso ebook celebrated Picasso's 120th birthday in 2001, and From my house to yours/the journeyweb invites people to send in images based on what makes them feel at home.
