TV as a Creative Medium
My work symbolically deconstructs the authority of television as a medium, by literally deconstructing the sanctity of the TV set itself as an object - to be represented as an icon, broken of its authority and rebuilt out of its own parts. My work reflects my investigation into collective/individual experience, memory, and the experience of time as mediated by mass communication devices. My work is realized in video, audio, photographic, and sculptural pieces. I am a seeking opportunities to produce solo exhibitions of my work and am seeking gallery representation.
